Welcome to the 2023-2024 Coach Registration with Brainerd Hockey.

These instructions are dedicated ONLY for Coach Registration and are different than the registration process for enrolling your son or daughter to play in BAHA.  Each Coach must register first with USA Hockey.  The USA Hockey confirmation number is required for this registration.

The following are the requirements for coaching.  Please note, these are requirements of USA or MN Hockey and not just BAHA.  All coaches across the country have the same requirements.  

1. Register as a coach with USA Hockey on www.usahockey.com

2. Register with BAHA on BAHA website

3. Have current SafeSport Training (annual requirement)

4. Have current Background Screening (two years at a time)

5. Have current Concussion Training and form completed (annual requirement)

6. Complete USA Hockey Age Specific Modules for the level you plan to coach. (stay with you for several years as of now)

7. Register for and complete a CEP Clinic by Dec. 31 if necessary (most are done virtually and some are in person)
